Before the trip:

December 2008. I knew there was going to be a trip to Finland but I was on the waiting list and I couldn’t relax. Every day I was asking my teacher if they got any additional sources.  

January 13. All of a sudden, my teacher told me the good news: he had finally found sponsorships and I could go! I was so excited: D. I was running in the yard of the school like crazy telling everyone that I will go to Finland. Since today, with the rest of the students that will travel, we started counting the days remaining for the trip.

February 16. Today we created the Cyprus Comenius Team (CCT). I’m so proud about this team. It consists of the students that will go to Finland (Andri, Eleni, Andria, Tasos, Marilena, Yiannis and myself xD)

February 24. Excitement is rising as the trip is coming closer. Today I was discussing with the rests some of my concerns about this trip. To say the truth I’m worried a little bit about my host, how the food will be and how well we will manage to communicate.

March 3. Today we split the duties for the trip. We have to make 2 presentations: one for Germany and one for Finland. So we made two teams=]. The team who will prepare the presentation about Finland consists of Yiannis, Marilena, Eleni and Tasos and the team for Germany consists of Andri, Andria and me.

March 18. Today we had to present our work for our teacher. He was not very pleased. The reality is that we didn’t work so much on it because we had many tests =/.

March 26. Today it was the 2^nd presentation of our work. This time Mr. Lysandrou was very pleased. He had only very small comments. I was very happy that we were done but Mr. Lysandrou announced us that we have to make also a presentation about Cyprus.
